To celebrate the completion of the Blount County Recycling Convenience Center, Blount County Government in partnership with Waste Connections, Inc. will be hosting a County-wide Open House to preview the new Recycling Center site on Wedensday, December 6 from 12pm-1:30pm. Waste Connections is bringing their UT Sports Truck equipped to grill and serve hamburgers and hot dogs for the public to come out and enjoy! Tours will be given of the facility. Everyone is invited to attend. 

The Blount County Recycing Convience Center will be accessable through Levi Street adjacent to the Bloutn County Operations Center off McArthur Road. 

Starting December 7 the hours of operations will be Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdasy from 8am-4:30pm.
