Landfill Learning Center Volunteer

Position Title: Assistant Landfill Learning Center Instructor

Reports To: Coordinator

Dates: Fall and Spring

Times: 11 am- 1 pm

Duties and Responsibilities

To learn activities taught at Landfill Learning Center by shadowing other volunteers and/or being coached by Lead Instructor.
To assist Lead Instructor in leading environmental education activities with elementary students.
To lead activities with students in groups of 20-30.
To help with set-up and take-down of activities.
To conduct activities in school in case of inclimate weather.

Note: All activites at Landfill Learning Center are outdoors and dependent on the weather.
