Keep Blount Beautiful and the Blount County Council of Garden Clubs are proud to announce the 17th year BRAVO! Award Winners.   BRAVO! Awards praise local businesses/organizations for their landscaping and beautification efforts.  Attractive businesses reflect a positive image to BlountCounty citizens and visitors. 

Landscape judging took place June 9th by a panel of Blount County Council of Garden Clubs judges. The judges have studied horticulture and landscape design.  Among the criteria for the awards were cleanliness, originality of landscaping, environmental impact and visual effect.  The judge’s grade on a numbers scale, when tallied the winners are revealed. The Keep Blount Beautiful board members judged the Building Reuse category. 

            The 2010 Landscaping winners are: The Barn Event Center, Cheddars Restaurant, Clayton Homes Corproate Office, Mary Blount Elementary and the RT Lodge.  Environmental Achivement  Award Winners are Fairview Elementary & Maryville Middle School. Building Reuse Winners are the Blount County Health Department and Hot Rod's Diner.

            Let’s congratulate the winners and look for their BRAVO! Yard sign outside of their business until June 2011!
