BlountCounty ’s Great American Litter Clean-Up and Volunteer Luncheon Event is right around the corner and we need your help! Join Keep Blount Beautiful April 9th to make a difference in your community. We are cleaning up roadsides, parking lots, rivers, streams, lake shores, parks and more! Volunteers of all ages are needed.
The first 400 pre-registered volunteers receive a FREE collectible t-shirt including child size. Plus, ALL volunteers receive FREE lunch for their services.
Keep Blount Beautiful is offering six check-in locations this year:
Main Location: Check-In 8am-10am
Bicentennial Park Pavilion (behind the old Blount County Courthouse). Maryville
Townsend: Check-In 8am-10am Little River Outfitters (
106 Town Square Drive). Hosted by Little River Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency andEast Tennessee Federation of Fly Fishers. The first 50 volunteers receive a special gift! Bring your canoes and waders!!!

Louisville : Check-In 8:30am-9am. Hosted by the Town of Louisville Point Park Louisville and theAssociation. To volunteer contact Kay Swicegood at 983-9399. Lunch at this location will be held at Fort Loudon Lake . Louisville Point Park
Friendsville: Check-In 8:30am-9:30am at the vacant lot on the corner of Morgan & College St. (across from the post office). To volunteer contact Donielle Stone at 414-5980.

Thanks to U.S Foodservice a FREE volunteer lunch will be served from 12pm-1:30pm at the Maryville Bicentennial Park Pavilion along with musical talent Pistol Creek Catch of the Day. Bring your lawn chairs and relax after a hard day of work.
Keep Blount Beautiful is also looking for volunteers to clean up litter anytime/any day during
’s Great American CleanUp, ending June 10. Litter has increased in our area and we need to work together to fight this problem. Keep Blount Beautiful offers free clean up supplies 365 days a year to include: trash bags, gloves, safety vests, safety signs, litter pickers and bag pick-up service when your clean up is complete in all areas of the city and county.
