Take Hwy 321 and travel toward Lenoir City for approx
2 miles past Foothills Mall. Turn left onto Old Glory Rd, there will be a
stop light at this intersection. Travel on Old Glory Rd, you will go
straight through a stop sign and straight through a stop light. After you
pass the stop light, the landfill will be less than a mile on your left.
There will be a sign that reads, “Alcoa-Maryville-Blount County Landfill”,
turn left. Go through the gates and stop at the scale house. A
volunteer will meet you there for your field trip.
